Our Readers often ask "How do I get the earlier back issues of The "E" Ticket Magazine?" Our original Xeroxed printing runs ran out long ago, creating an active after-market for the earlier Issues. Some of these were seen on recent internet auctions, selling for $40 and more each!

The "E" Ticket Magazine has grown dramatically in popularity, and accordingly, each issue now includes better artwork, printing techniques, glossy paper, color photos and expanded interviews.

None the less, the articles and information from these first Issues are still valid and incredibly useful.  Now you can have these early issues, all the content and the artwork with The "E" Ticket Magazine - The First Issues CD-ROM.
In addition to our favorite Park, Disneyland, these early Issues featured P.O.P. (Pacific Ocean Park), Knott's Berry Farm, Marineland, and other Southern California attractions. Issue #1 was sent to fellow theme park enthusiasts and collectors, and additional issues could be ordered with only SASE and three 22 cent stamps! Circulation was EXTREMELY limited, many of our newer readers have never seen these early Issues.

Issues 1 through 8 and the 1988 and 1991 Annuals have been scanned into The First Issues CD-ROM. We've added links and search capabilities. There is a full color introduction including a history of The "E" Ticket Magazine, pictures of our early days and those who have helped us, and information about Imagineers. There is a section of sound bites where we, the Editors, get to talk! And throughout the CD music for your listening pleasure. All of this additional information is included it as a "Thank You" to our loyal Readers!

Issue #1 - Winter 1986 - First Year Collectibles, items from 1955 Disneyland are some of the most sought after by Disneyana Collectors. These pieces often featured now-incorrect spelling and names, since they were made before the Park actually opened. Other articles included a brochure from POP and discussion on the free giveaways at Disneyland.

Issue #2 - Spring 1987 - The Viewliner, Knott's Berry Farm and Ghost Town, Parker Bros. Games. News feature on Marineland closing.

Issue #3 - Summer 1987 - Frontierland's "Rainbow" Story, Disneyland Puzzle Card sets, Pacific Ocean Park layout.

Issue #4 - Winter 1987-88 - Skull Rock, Theme Park Tickets, Walt Disney Takes You to Disneyland LP record, Big Game Safari Tru-Vu Adventure Gun

Issue #5 - Summer 1988 - Calico Mine Train at Knott's, the Schuco Monorail toy train that originally listed for $47.88! (and now sells for over $1,000!), Frontierland log cabin assembly toys, 20,000 Leagues Exhibit including pictures and attraction layout.

1988 Annual - In addition to a re-cap of the first three Issues, we include some better photos and more details about each article. We also feature an interview with Disney Chief Archivist Dave Smith.

Issue #6 - Winter 1988-89 - Pacific Ocean Park 1968 Bankruptcy Auction transcript, Adventureland memories, Disneyland Postcards and Aunt Jemima Menu.

Issue #7 - Summer 1989 - Interview with Marc Davis, the "Trip to Venus" ride at the 1939 World's Fair, Exploring the Caves of Tom Sawyer Island, and the Disneyland Play Set.
