Issue #45 - The Art of the Pirates of
the Caribbean
|
Description of Contents:
|
- We present an interview with Alice Davis, a great story teller with
a unique insight into the Disney process. An important portion of her
career as a costume designer was spent at Disney where she designed the
clothing for some of our favorite Disneyland personalities. We first met
Alice when we interviewed her husband Marc Davis for Issue #7.
|
- Pirates of the Caribbean displays the best work of both Marc and
Alice Davis, as well as numerous other artists. We feature the original
artwork of many of the artists who contributed to the initial design of
this ride.
|
- The Clock of the World at the entrance to the first Tomorrowland may
be one of the little attractions at Disneyland, but it is memorable none the less. We take a
close look at this nearly forgotten icon of the future.
